The ICY Intelligent Thermostat together with the ICY Control Centre was developed specifically for the hospitality sector and has been saving customers tens of thousands of pounds every year for over a decade.
When installed in guest rooms, the ICY Intelligent Thermostat, with its in-built motion and light sensor, is able to detect whether a room is occupied or not.
When no movement is detected, or the room light has been switched off by the vacating guest, the thermostat will automatically set back the temperature to a preset Dormant Temperature.
The Intelligent Thermostats can be networked using the wireless ICY-Net and room settings can be fully controlled from reception via the ICY Control Centre (ICY-CC).
What’s more is that the ICY Control Centre can be linked to the hotel reservation software, heating accommodation to room temperature on the expected future arrival of a guest; and similarly shutting down the heating on the date of guest departure.
